The Foundation Center strengthens the social sector by advancing knowledge about philanthropy in the U.S. and around the world. Through an annual grant made by CFCV, the Foundation Center's grantmaking database is made available to all area nonprofits via the Columbus Public Library. This database and training materials offer a wide variety of tools and resources for nonprofits to search for available grant opportunities throughout the nation.

The Georgia Center for Nonprofits aims to build thriving communities by helping nonprofits succeed. From articles to consulting to their Nonprofit University, they exist to strengthen communities by equipping nonprofits. Their work includes helping nonprofits use their tools and resources to strengthen their efforts and maximize their impact.
National Council of Nonprofits
The National Council of Nonprofits (Council of Nonprofits) is a trusted resource and proven advocate for America’s charitable nonprofits. Connecting the policy dots across all levels and branches of governments, the Council of Nonprofits keeps nonprofits informed and empowered to create a positive public policy environment that best supports nonprofits in advancing their missions.
Starting an Organization Fund at CFCV
A number of area nonprofits have started Organization Funds at CFCV to benefit their organizations or specific aspects of their work. Nonprofits often take advantage of our professional endowment management, freeing their staff and board to concentrate on the organization’s own programs and mission.
