Enduring Community Impact
Our community faces a range of needs from pressing emergencies to opportunities for long-term growth and transformation. Ensuring that the Chattahoochee Valley thrives for generations to come via meaningful philanthropy is our foremost purpose.
Celebrating 20 Years of Philanthropy
In September 2018, the Community Foundation celebrated its 20th Anniversary with an Investors’ Luncheon, to celebrate and further inspire those throughout the community who have invested philanthropic assets, leadership and partnership in the Community Foundation. Click here to view the 20th Anniversary video and learn what our community is saying about philanthropy in this community!
The program that day was provided by David Dodson, president of MDC in Durham, NC, an organization that has worked for more than 50 years to expand equity and opportunity in the South. His challenging but inspiring remarks, Moving on Up: Building an Infrastructure of Opportunity in the Chattahoochee Valley, are well worth sharing.
