Enduring Community Impact

Our community faces a range of needs from pressing emergencies to opportunities for long-term growth and transformation. Ensuring that the Chattahoochee Valley thrives for generations to come via meaningful philanthropy is our foremost purpose.

Connecting, Convening, and Collaborating for a Better Community

From our stewardship of hundreds of Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), to our responsive discretionary grantmaking, the Community Foundation brings together the people and resources that create meaningful impact for a multitude of individuals and organizations throughout our region. Since our inception we have:

  • Received

    $274 million

    in contributions

  • Stewarded
    more than

    300 Funds,

    some 200 Donor Advised Funds

  • Granted over

    $150 million

to organizations around the Chattahoochee Valley
    and across the country

  • Added over
    50 Million
in charitable value for the community
    via our pooled instruments

  • Our Initiatives

In addition to realizing the philanthropic dreams of our donors, the Community Foundation leads community conversations and makes strategic discretionary grants to respond to these key issues our area is facing.

  • Scholarships

The future of Chattahoochee Valley communities relies on the promise of our youth and young adults. Enabling an education that helps them realize their full potential is one of the most important ways we help our area thrive:

  • Stories of Change

On the other end of every grant we make, or gift we process, is one person, or many, whose lives are forever changed by the generous philanthropy propelled by CFCV. With each story, the larger picture of our impact unfolds.

What I enjoy most with my work at the Foundation is being a part of something much bigger than myself. I get to work directly with families who are aware of the needs of the community and want to give back. Making that a reality is an honor.”
