 In April 2006, nonprofits in our area got a whole new resource. Developed through a partnership between Columbus Technical College, the Community Foundation, ROCA Resources, and United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley, the Nonprofit Academy is a low-cost, high-quality training collaborative for nonprofit organizations in the Chattahoochee Valley.
The Academy features 36 classes customized specifically for the needs of the nonprofit community’s boards and staffs.
In addition, to help nonprofits that may not be able to afford the class fees, the Steering Committee established a Nonprofit Academy Scholarship Fund at the Community Foundation. We welcome donations from all sources and would be happy to facilitate grants from donor-advised funds for that purpose.
