Connecting Donor Interests with Community Needs

One of the Community Foundation’s primary objectives is to increase philanthropy by making it easy for people who want to make a difference to connect to community needs they care about.  We’re happy to help foster purposeful charitable giving, whether people give through the Community Foundation or directly to a charity.

The listings to the right offer ideas on current charitable needs around the Chattahoochee Valley. Nonprofit organizations may submit up to three specific funding needs for a maximum of $8,000 each, using the Needs Summary Form, and are encouraged to keep their listings up to date. Organizations are grouped alphabetically within their primary focus areas.

Needs Summary Form
If you or your family, business, charitable organization or foundation are interested in helping meet one or more of these needs, you may either give through the Community Foundation or directly to the charity as listed.  Although the Community Foundation has not researched or prioritized the needs listed, we are happy to request more information from a charity on behalf of a prospective donor–and can keep your inquiries anonymous, if you wish.  If you ultimately elect to make a gift, please let the charity know where you learned of their need so that we can track this page’s success.

Charities:  please let us know when you receive a gift as a result of this page!
