Mission: A nonprofit advocacy group focused on planting, preserving and protecting Columbus' trees and its natural environment to improve the community's way of life.
About Us: | Need 1: Donations for Our 2005 Holiday Forest The 2005 Holiday Forest will be planted behind the new Columbus Public Library. Trees Columbus has received a $13,500 grant that must be met by a like amount. All funds received will be used to purchase trees to plant on the 4-acre site behind the new library. The area will be used as a demonstration project to show how brownspace can be reclaimed; native trees will be used. Specimens will be labeled, thereby allowing the area to further be used as an educational resource.
Total Project Cost: $27,000
Requested: Any donation toward the effort will be gratefully accepted

Need 2: Planting Supplies: Wheelbarrows, Shovels, Rakes and Pitchforks These tools are used for planting projects. We particularly need wheelbarrows and pitchforks.
Requested: Any donation toward the effort will be gratefully accepted; used equipment in good condition is welcomed.
