Total Project Cost: $2,000 Requested: $2,000; any donation toward the effort will be gratefully accepted In-Kind Accepted Need 2:  Preservation Incentive Packet Historic Columbus offers numerous incentives for home and business owners to preserve and make improvements on their buildings.  These programs include interest-free facade loans and conservation easements.  We also assist in the preparation of state and federal tax incentives that make preservation more economically feasible.  The cost of advertising such programs exceeds the funds available to Historic Columbus and this gift would allow Historic Columbus to design and distribute informational brochures to the public. Total Project Cost:  $3,500 Requested: $3,500; any donation toward the effort will be gratefully accepted Need 3:  Period Costumes In partnership with the Columbus Museum and Port Columbus, Historic Columbus has created a series of hands-on-history programs to help children understand the lives of their counterparts in different historic periods.  We believe that this would be greatly enhanced if we had a few child-sized historic costumes and men's and women's period apparel for our interpretations and educational pursuits.
