      Need 1:  Stage Lighting System
Our Summer Theatre program lacks a professional lighting system because we have never been able to afford it.  Over the years we have used lamps (from yard sales and flea markets) and a variety of used and broken lighting equipment.  Girls need to learn lighting, stage design and set construction.  Without having the lighting equipment available the girls are not getting the experience they need.  We want to have proper stage lighting installed and have girls learn the operation of the lighting system.

      Total Project Cost: $3,484

Requested: Any donation toward the effort will be gratefully accepted

Need 2:  Flyaway Pigeon Barrier System
The main building front entrance at Baker Center has become a pigeon nesting and roosting area.  Everyone who enters the building must walk through and under this area daily.  We need to install a Pigeon behavioral removal system without harm to pigeons.  Health Department officials have tested some of our dead pigeons for West Nile Virus.  The proposed system will eliminate nesting and roosting areas, daily cleanup and the risk of numerous infectious diseases carried by birds.  It has been used successfully by TSYS and AFLAC.

      Total Project Cost:  $7,500

Requested: Any donation toward the effort will be gratefully accepted

      Need 3:  Utility Tractor
Our new sports complex (one soccer and two softball fields) requires a utility tractor to cut grass, haul dirt, drag the infields, haul equipment and other various tasks required to operate or maintain the sports complex.  Currently we use personal small trucks to drag the softball infield and haul equipment to the field and the concession stand.  These small trucks are not adequate for the job.  A utility tractor will serve our needs better and allow us to maintain our fields properly.

      Total Project Cost:  $12,575

Requested:  $8,000.  Any donation toward the effort will be gratefully accepted

      In-kind accepted
