On April 3, 2009, the Community Foundation partnered with Alexander Haas, a premier Atlanta fundraising counseling firm, to present a workshop for nonprofits on "Fundraising Strategies to Survive the Recession: How Your Organization Can Succeed in These Difficult Times."
Alexander Haas is currently offering this free workshop at their Atlanta office each Thursday. For more information, including links to other helpful information on Georgia giving, visit their website.
For still more information on how to strengthen your nonprofit, check our Resources for Nonprofits page and visit the Reference Room of the Columbus Public Library to access the Foundation Center Cooperating Collection. The Cooperating Collection is sponsored by a grant from the Community Foundation's Community Endowment Fund. The library also stocks a large number of books on various nonprofit management issues.
